about

Conceived in late 2010/early 2011, this is some of the first Wolf Fluorescence material I ever worked out. I think I made this around the same time I did Bath House, but this came much before, when I wasn't really keeping cassette format in mind. There's a much, much darker tone to it. From the track names to the samples used, everything is infinitely bleaker and grayer. This was back when WF was heavily influenced by noise, black metal, and shit like that. "Dis parat" is still one of my favorite pieces, just because of the extreme length and the pressure put on that one piano loop. Because of the way the album was set up, it would have been impossible to release on cassette, so record labels weren't that into it. The fact that it exists is important though – at least to me – as a step in the growth of Wolf Fluorescence.

This is meant to be listened to LOUD, and by yourself, and in a pitch black room.
